Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your Membership agreement without giving any reason within 14 days from the day the agreement was concluded (the day you clicked the order button on the confirmation page).

If your Membership starts with a 14-day free trial, the withdrawal period starts at checkout and runs alongside the trial: it ends at 23:59 (Amsterdam time) on the charge date shown at checkout. The conversion of the trial into a paid Membership does not restart the withdrawal period, because the price, billing interval and exact date of the first charge were shown to you before you placed the order.

Example: you sign up on 14 September; your first charge date is 28 September; you can withdraw until 23:59 (Amsterdam time) on 28 September.

At checkout you tick a box expressly requesting that the service starts immediately, during the withdrawal period. This gives you access to your Membership right away and does not shorten or remove your right of withdrawal.

Inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement — for example by email to support@gainsbybrains.com — or use the model withdrawal form below (using the form is not mandatory). Sending your statement before the 14-day period expires is sufficient.

If you send your withdrawal within the period, we refund in full anything already charged and your access ends.

If you send it after the period has expired, we treat it as a cancellation of your Membership: you keep access until the end of the period already paid for, and no refund is due for that period. We confirm this by email.

We will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days after being informed of your withdrawal, using the same means of payment you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise. No fees are charged for the refund.

The right of withdrawal does not affect, and is in addition to, your normal right to cancel your Membership as described in the Website Membership Terms.

This page applies to Memberships purchased via our website. If you purchased your subscription via the Apple App Store, billing and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple; you can request a refund via Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
